Customised clothing for events makes those attending feel part of the experience and have a lasting memory of the day, in addition, they can be part of the merchandise that helps to raise funds. From running t-shirts to tote bags, safety vests to polo shirts, we can customise clothing with a range of options when looking at high volume and low cost, direct-to-transfers are often great for this type of budget, but they are limited especially when talking about creativity.
Charity Walk
In July this year we were contact by Sarah Campbell who found us on a Google search. Sarah organised the ‘Bare your soles’ a 4km Barefoot Walk at Knepp Estate in September to raise funds for the charity Ataxia UK.
Ataxia is a rare neurological disorder that affects balance, speech and coordination. The majority of forms of ataxia are treatable, but currently there is no cure.
Direct to Garment
The barefoot walk has a great hand drawn logo featuring a family walking, this was printed onto the back and fills most of the available space with the Knepp logo, pocket sized on the front, both are full colour. The logos were printed onto the garments via a process called Direct To Garment, or DTG. This technique prints the design straight onto the garment rather than a transfer which is ideal for full colour artwork and longer lasting prints.
Hoodies and T-shirts
With a family vibe for the walk the t-shirts and hoodies were chosen in a wide range of colours, and sizes for adults and kids. Colours ranged from Navy, Sky, Dusty Rose, and Convoy Grey, meaning each garment was individual and the walk was a colourful array.
The t-shirts were a classic Russell brand, produced with a superior fine gauge knit fabric for excellent decoration results that last. With 20 colours available they are one of most popular choices for tees.
The hoodies were from the AWDis Just Hoods range. Available in over 80 colours they are a classic college hoodie with 80% ringspun cotton and kangaroo pouch pocket and made with Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified production.
