Embroidery
We will digitize your logo or design so that the embroidery machines can replicate the design in thread and stitches. We will then be able to give you a cost for embroidering your logo onto the garments of your choice, once you have given us the go-ahead we will create a swatch of your logo to approve and the order can go ahead.
Generally, the more complex the logo, and the more stitches the machines need to do to create it, the more expensive it can be, this is called the ‘stitch count’. If your stitch count is high, we can suggest simplifying your logo to text to suit your budget.
Your logo can then be embroidered onto various locations on your garment of choice, but placements are usually on the left or right breast area, middle of the chest, on the sleeve, and on the back around the nape of the neck. On headwear, like caps and Beanies, usually, the front and back are embroidered.
Your logo is important to us, so before we go ahead with your order of garments we will embroider a colour swatch for you. This swatch allows you to see how the final embroidery will look on a small piece of fabric, almost like a proof or test piece.
Please note, that there is a minimum order for embroidery onto garments, ask for more details when enquiring about a quotation.

Heat Applied Transfers
We stock a variety of colours of material that can be heat applied to garments, such as coloured vinyl, and specialized vinyl that can be printed on cut round to shapes and also applied.
This special vinyl has an adhesive on one side; it is placed onto the garment and pressed at a high temperature. The backing peels away to reveal the decoration, wording, or image. Ideal for short-run items that have one or two colour vinyl designs.
- Lower costs for items that have a larger amount of coverage on the garment
- Designs can use large bold text and shapes
- Great for events and short-run items as cheaper than embroidery
- Photo prints can be transferred onto t-shirts
- Commonly used for numbers and names on sports kits

Direct-To-Garment (DTG)
Direct To Garment (DTG) is a technique that allows a full colour print to be applied directly to the item of clothing rather than onto a transfers which is then applied. This allows for full colour images, long lasting prints and is great for short or long runs.
DTG doesn’t need screens or transfers to place the artwork onto a garment, so it can be most cost-effective. It also allows for images that have lots of colour to be used rather than built up with screens or layering transfers or vinyl. Any garment type can be branded and also any base colour.
Special attention must be paid to how you wash and look after the garment, see our care instructions.
Sublimation
This type of innovative modern printing process takes a combination of pressure and high temperatures to transfer and embed the image onto the fabric therefore saturating it and becoming part of it. Colours remain permanent and cannot be washed away. In addition, the design can take up most of the garment, so your design can run edge to edge.
- Totally unique design
- Complex designs, drop shadows, gradients and patterns can all be used
- As many colours as you would like – even a rainbow
- Personalisation – add your sponsor logos, brand or business, club or sports PLUS names and numbers
- Ideal for sportswear including Football, Running, Cycling, Cricket, Basketball, Netball, Athletics, Hockey, Dance and many more
- Have your generic club kit individual to your club year after year, where you decide on the changes, not the manufacturer
- Great for events where, again, you may have many sponsor logos of various colours and designs and wish to combine everything on one print.
Other Branding Options
Our badges are embroidered designs stitched onto a base. Badges can be unusual shapes and have borders; they can then be sewn or applied.
Screen Printing is a printing technique where mesh and silk screens are used to build up a design with ink directly onto the garment. The screens are like a type of stencil blocking out sections so only one colour is applied at a time.
Screen-printing is ideal for large runs or if the design uses spot or dedicated Pantone colours.
