How to get your logo onto clothing

Getting your clothing customised with your logo could not be easier when working with us, at AppliedFX. We have broken down the process into an easy step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Supply your logo or artwork to us

All our branding options require artwork of some kind. Email us your logo, club badge, or design at accounts@belsigns.com. The type of branding you require depends on how we use this artwork.

If it is embroidery, the artwork will be ‘digitalised’ meaning it will be replicated in thread so our embroidery machines can stitch it.

If it is to be printed, either directly onto the material or as a transfer, we will need to print with it, so we need it to be high-resolution. Our team will let you know if the artwork you have supplied is suitable for this purpose.

We have an in-house design team. If you need a logo created, just talk to the team to supply a brief and request a quotation.

If in doubt, submit what you have and we can advise accordingly.

Step 2: Browse our online catalogue

Here we have a range of clothing from top brands. Everything is here from layers of uniform, sportswear for clubs, or seasonal clothing for the weather. You can find clothing from top to toe; vests to jackets, trousers to caps.

The catalogue pages show you colours and sizes of items so make a note of the product code (or copy the link) and speak to the team.

It doesn’t stop at clothing; our team can also customise items such as bags, aprons, totes and bandanas. You will also find clothing specifically for industries, such as trades, health & beauty, sports and athleisurewear, hospitality, kitchen and safetywear.

In addition, brands such as Uneek, Premier Clothing and Kustom Kit have their own catalogues, so if you don’t see something you like, we can also show you other items from brands which might be right for you.

Browsing our online catalogue

Not sure what clothing you would like?

You can contact our team with a brief and let us suggest items which would work for you. For example, you may wish to have an eco-friendly brand, a slim fit, or available in bright orange, we can find items specifically for you, just let us know.

Step 3: Garment details

Provide us with all your details and quantities of garment in the sizes required.
This way the team can provide you with a sample of the branding and a timescale of delivery.

If you have a new member of staff starting, an event or match, let us know when you require them so we can schedule them in.

Step 4: Your order

Timescales

Sublimation can take the most amount of time as the material is printed with the design and then made into garments.
Embroidery times differ depending on the ‘stitch count’, which is the amount of stitches required to make the design. It also depends on how many placements there are on the garment.
Heat-applied transfers can be applied directly to the garments, but they need to be cut and placed with some accuracy.

Proofing your order

Our team can advise on what branding option would be best for your clothing. For example embroidery is hard wearing and ideal for trades. Heat applied transfers can be great for plain text, events and short runs. Direct To Garment (DTG) can be used for large prints and sublimation is ideal for sports kits where sponsor logos and various colours can all be used across the garment.

A proof of design or a sample of embroidery will be supplied to you before we go ahead to ensure you are happy with placement and colours.
