Working with The Capitol Theatre

This year we enjoyed supplying branded garments for The Capitol Theatre, Horsham, some specifically for the Beauty and the Beast Christmas pantomime. These included tote bags, hoodies and T-shirts. Last year we supplied beanies for the Cinderella production. We have been working with various departments within Horsham District Council since 2019 and supplying a variety of uniforms and branded workwear, the majority with embroidery. These included jackets, gilets, sweatshirts, fleeces, polos, t-shirts and hi-vis. Beauty & The Beast branded items The tote bags were 100% organic cotton canvas with a natural wooden toggle button and a long handle, ideal for over-the-shoulder carrying. The bags were digitally printed with the Beauty & The Beast production logo, printed on both sides. Similarly, the hoodies also had print applied to them, with an ultrasoft finish; the heavyweight hoodies had a front zip in a stone blue colour. These complemented the dark heather blue unisex t-shirts, also 100% organic cotton jersey (see above). The Capitol uniform For staff uniforms, we supplied black unisex t-shirts with the Capitol logo embroidered onto the front chest. These tees are 100% Organic ringspun combed cotton with a soft-hand feel, short sleeve, and round neck. They are Vegan, Oeko-Tex and Fairwear Foundation certified, meaning they are textiles tested for harmful substances, produced with organisations that improve working conditions for garment workers and are PETA-approved vegan. St Peters School Direct-To-Garment promotional items are a big hit

DTG onto promotional items for a local school

To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee this year St Peter’s Church of England (Aided) Primary School in Henfield came to us with some beautiful artwork pieces. Each year group, from reception to Year 6, collaborated and created a piece of artwork to reflect a different decade along with Her Majesty’s profile, covering the time of her reign. Each year group’s artwork was then put together with the school logo and details by our designer. The school offered tea towels and tote bags with the designs and came to us with an overall order. As the orders ranged in amounts for each item the best solution was for Direct-To-Garment printing as a transfer print would have been a minimum of ten per design and been too costly for this project. We used a 100% cotton long-handled 150gsm bag for the printing. Reusable, sustainable and great for the environment, the bags are Oeko-Tex certified. Direct-To-Garment, or DTG, is a process like that of printing onto paper. Instead of paper, the full-colour print goes directly onto the garment, or in this case onto promotional items such as bags and tea towels. Our sister company BEL Signs also supplied the prints on thick cards for sale and as large format prints onto foamex to be displayed within the school. A total of 39 tea towels, 74 bags and 140 cards were ordered. The school gave us this review: “Our children’s jubilee artwork looks brilliant printed on tea towels and tote bags. Thank you for the design input and quick turnaround.”

Sublimated kit for Fittleworth Village School

Fittleworth school sublimation kit

This is a recent sublimated printed kit for Fittleworth Village School, Sussex, featuring dark blue stripes over a bright blue. With yellow edging and a printed school logo, it has the sponsor’s logo across the chest. Both logos feature small illustrative details that show clearly in the sublimated print. Large white numbers feature on the back with a bright yellow outline. The goalkeeper kit is a reverse, with a yellow background, darker stripes and blue trim. Both kits have blue shorts that continue the design and each kit has socks to match the kit colours.
